Hotcheeks got hooked on DJ-ing almost a year ago when, on a lark, she decided to join the Miso Flamingo DJ Bootcamp. Fresh out of grad school (read: 2 years of partying and drinking), Hotcheeks discovered she got excited whenever she was able to introduce new music to her friends. House music is her first love but she is also very much into soul, '80s and hip hop. She also has a soft spot for anything with the Saxophone. Most recently, Hotcheeks has begun the arduous but exciting search for house/'80s/soul mashups. Stay tuned for more!

Under the guidance of Singapore's own DJ heroines, Debbie Chia, Cherry Chan and Natalie Pixiedub, S.O.S (short for "Sound of Sirens") was conceived by a bevy of quirky young ladies, eager to unleash their bags of eclectic tunes on the general public. Each lady an inspired graduate of the Miso Flamingo Bootcamp '08 & '09 with diverse tastes in music, but all united in their female national service in S.O.S. Listen out for the sound of sirens amidst the riffraff broadcast on the airwaves today...it's the NS girls (and their quality tunes) to the rescue!
